A handset can only be deregistered by another handset still registered. It is not possible
to complete the deregistration using the handset which is to be deregistered.

Additional base stations
The range of the handsets can be increased by using several base stations. To imple-
ment the function, all the base stations must be connected to a telephone line connec-
tion. Depending on the intended use, each base station can be assigned the same tele-
phone number or each can be assigned a different call number. Pay attention that all the
base stations overlap with regard to their range.
The handset must be registered on each base station.
Please test the range of the handset before starting up a new base station. If a handset
is registered on the base station and the automatic base station dialling function has been
activated on the handset (refer to Section 7.5), the handset is always automatically trans-
ferred to the next base station.
11.5.1 Selecting a base station
