1. Cleaning carpets
– For best results, use our KÄRCHER RM 70 or RM
760 detergent. The amount of RM 760 packaged
with the machine is sufficient for two unit refills.
For the appropriate dilution, always follow the in-
structions on the label.
– Always work towards the rear.
– Finally, clean the carpet again with fresh water in
order to remove any detergent residue from the
carpet.
– After cleaning, allow the carpet to dry thoroughly
before walking on it. Any lines in the carpet will
disappear during the drying process.
– Spray more detergent onto heavily soiled areas
and leave the detergent to react for 5-10 min.
However, do not saturate the carpet.
Note
Do not leave the spray pump running when the
fresh-water tank is empty, otherwise the spray
pump could be damaged.
2. Cleaning hard surfaces
– Use KÄRCHER detergent RM 76 for coated floors
and KÄRCHER detergent RM 75 for uncoated
floors. Dose according to the application instruc-
tions on the bottle.
– Tiled floors are best cleaned diagonal to the
crevices.
– Spray more detergent onto heavily soiled areas
and leave the detergent to react for 5-10 min.
Note
Do not use on parquet floors! Otherwise moisture
may penetrate the floor.

3. Wet vacuuming
– Empty the water tank before wet vacuuming.
– Switch on the suction turbine only, not the spray
pump.
– You can wet vacuum with or without the spray
nozzle.
Note
Do not vacuum up more than 4 litres of liquid.
4. On completion of wet cleaning
– On completion of work flush the unit with approx.
1 litre of fresh water to remove all impurities,
spraying and vacuuming simultaneously on the
same spot.
– Clean the water tank and dry the inside of the
unit. The elbow in the cover can also be removed
and cleaned.
– Preferably store the unit in an upright position,
leaving the tank cover slightly open so that the
interior can dry out.
5. Dry vacuuming
– Remove the tank and dry the inside of the unit
with a cloth.
– Insert the stopper into the water outlet.
– Insert the filter holder into the cover, ensuring
that the centre projection is at the top. Then place
the filter bag on this filter holder, ensuring that the
tab is at the top.
– Switch on the suction turbine only, not the spray
pump.
– The air flap on the handle allows you to control
the suction flow according to the application.
