6.2. Battery operation – inserting
the batteries into the device
The battery compartment is located at the rear of the
device.
 Slide off the battery compartment cover on the
rear of the device and open the battery compart-
ment.
 Insert 4 x 1.5 V batteries, size LR6/AA, (not sup-
plied) with the negative end resting on the springs.
Refer to the diagram in the battery compartment!
 Slide the battery compartment cover back onto
the device until it audibly clicks into place.
NOTICE
If batteries are inserted and the mains
adapter is not connected, the device will
automatically run off the batteries.
6.3. Switch device on/off
 Press the
