Ensure that the points in Sections 1 and 2 have
been followed.
5.1 Attach the supplied cloth to the floor bru-
sh. To make it easier to attach, the cloth has
an easy lock/release system to avoid having
to bend over and use your hands. Just place
the cleaning side of the cloth on the floor and
rest the brush on top (13).
5.2 Adjust the intensity of the steam by tur-
ning the adjustment knob (12); for this type of
surface we recommend Medium level steam.
5.3 Release the appliance brush by tilting it
backward and using a foot, then press the
steam button (14) on the handle, and begin
cleaning moving the broom back and forth. To
stop the steam flow, release the steam button.
5.4 The brush has a flexible joint that makes it
easy to also clean corners and edges of furni-
ture and walls.
During cleaning, it is possible to insert the
power cable into the upper hook, to avoid it
possibly getting in the way (15).
The brush has bristles built into the rear side
(16) ideal for removing the most stubborn
dirt. To use, return the handle to the vertical
position locking the brush, then tilt until the
brushes are touching the floor and scrape off
the dirt.
Before removing the cloth from the brush,
wait a few minutes to allow the cloth to cool.
After which, rest a foot on the symbol relati-
ve to the tab of the cloth and pull the steam
broom upward.
WARNING:
Do
not
without the cloth.
WARNING: For additional safety, test steam
delivery on a hidden part, leave the steamed
part to dry to ensure that no changes in co-
lour or deformations have occurred.
6. CLEANING CARPETS AND RUGS
WARNING: Before cleaning fabrics with
steam, consult the manufacturer's instruc-
tions and always carry out a test on a hidden
part or on a sample of the material. Allow
the steamed part to dry to make sure that
no changes in colour or deformations have
occurred.

surface (17).

7. CLEANING GLASS, WINDOWS
AND TILES
WARNING: To clean glass surfaces during
cold weather, preheat the windows starting
to vacuum from a distance of about 50 cm
from the surface.
Use only the Portable Steam Cleaner.
Ensure that Chapter 1 has been followed.
Turn on the appliance following the instruc-
tions listed in Point 2.4 and connect the ac-
cessories as shown in Chapter 3.
7.1 To clean windows and mirrors, steam the
surface thoroughly to dissolve the dirt. Con-
nect the small window-cleaning brush to the
Portable Cleaner or the lance (the lance can
be connected to the flexible hose for difficult-
to-reach areas) and go back over the surface
to eliminate the dirt, without dispensing
steam.
7.2 Adjust the intensity of the steam (12) with
the special handle; for this type of surface we
recommend Medium level of steam.
7.3 To clean tiles, attach the cap to the small
window-cleaning brush (18) and pass over the
surface, dispensing steam (19), pressing the
lever of the Portable Cleaner, in order to elimi-
nate the dirt.
