Question:
Why is a liquid (whey) collecting on the surface of the yoghurt?
Answer:
A little liquid is normal, try mixing it into the yoghurt.
The milk may have been overheated causing it to separate.
The yoghurt may have been left in the Multi Yoghurt Maker too long and
overheated. If there is a lot of liquid you can pour it off.
The Multi Yoghurt Maker may have been moved, stirred or bumped during
heating, or could have become too warm.
For best results, don't stir or move while in use and keep away from hot
surfaces.
Question:
Why is my Greek yoghurt the wrong consistency after straining?
Answer:
The Greek yoghurt may have been strained too long, if it is too thin, it has
not been strained long enough.
If it is too thick, stir a few tablespoons of whey back into the yoghurt. If it is
too thin, strain it again.
Question:
Why does my yoghurt have a grainy texture?
Answer:
The milk was overheated. Take the milk off the heat immediately after it has
boiled to temperature.
