(8) Installation of the water flowmeter
The water flowmeter is used to set the material consistency in an ideal and rational manner, guaranteeing constant
mixing results. The flow meter is fitted between the metering valve and the mixing shaft.
Switch off the unit and disconnect the mains cable from
the master switch of the unit.
Close the water cock of the water inlet.
Disconnect the hose between the mixing pipe on the
GEKA connection on the mixing pipe and the water inlet
by undoing the hose clamp and pulling off the hose.
Use the small mounting angle and the fastening screws
provided to fit the water flowmeter to the top fastening
point on the hopper edge.
Subsequently fix the bigger mounting angle at the bottom
of the mounting point of the cross bracing using the two
remaining screws.
Now fit the shorter of the two hoses fitted to the water
flowmeter to the water inlet by placing and tightening the
hose clamp.
Connect the other hose with the GEKA connection to the
counter-piece on the mixing pipe.
Straighten the water flowmeter and then tighten the pre-
viously attached fastening screws.
The water flowmeter is now ready for operation.
