This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle could
harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal waste; it should
be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be returned to your distributor or to
a local recycling service. Respect the local environmental rules.
If in doubt, contact your local waste disposal authorities.

Safety Instructions

 The gas tank of the GASIRON2 should not make contact with alcohol or liquids containing alcohol.
 Do not use water to cool down the soldering iron as this may damage it.
 Keep the device out of reach of children and unauthorized users.
 Do not use the GASIRON2 when it is damaged or leaking gas.
 Allow the gas to stabilize before using the device after a refill.
 Do not refill the soldering iron in the room where you are going to use it or in a room with ignition sources.
 Do not put an ignited GASIRON2 down on any surface.
 Do not tamper with the device; any modification could cause a potential hazard.
 Be careful not to heat or burn the refill canisters or the device's gas tank.
 Work only in a well-ventilated area and keep the working space tidy and free from combustible or greasy
materials.
 Always wear eye protection and protective gloves when working with the GASIRON2.
 WARNING: the flame is not easily visible in the sun.
 Do not point the flame towards people or animals.
 Treat the GASIRON2 as you would any fine tool or instrument. Do not drop or otherwise abuse it.
 Do not store the device in a place where the temperature can exceed 40 °C (104 °F).
 Warning! This tool must be placed on its stand when not in use; do not leave the tool unattended when
switched on.
