Testing the unit

Power up unit and run as follows (add
Check cycle selection on all cycles
Check and select language if appropriate
Check and set date and time
Connect HIP™ cleaning solution pouch
Run test cycle
Run 2nd test cycle
Check unit for leaks during 2nd cycle
4. Performance testing of the unit
NOTE! The HYDRIM M2 G4 unit has been Type tested and Works tested in the factory
in accordance with EN ISO 15883-1/2. A certificate confirming this is included with each
machine. Full retesting should not be required on installation unless specifically required
by local or national guidelines.
The installation, operational and performance qualifications should be tested according
to local or national guidelines. Please follow the procedure from the previous section as
well as in accordance with the Product Advice Sheet SD-355 entitled - "HYDRIM M2 G4
Washer Disinfector recommended (minimum) testing requirements", available on
mySciCan via http://www.scican.com.
If the user requests activation of the P4 custom cycle, the custom program must also be
validated with the customized parameters.
NOTE! The disinfection temperature cannot be adjusted in the P4 cycle, only
the disinfection time can be increased by 1 minute intervals from 1 to 5 minutes.

Chemical dosing check
Cleaning efficacy check
Test for residual proteins
