• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to
"off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use: the cooking and heating of food.
Correct use of electricity
• Use of an extension cord is not recommended as it may overheat and cause risk of fire. However, if an
extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance, and the long cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
worktop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
• To prevent overloading and blowing fuses, ensure that no other high power appliance is plugged into the

room.
• DO NOT TRY TO REPAIR the broken fuse by yourself, the user should take the set to your local authorized
maintenance centner to replace it with the new one.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or in-
struction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• The surfaces are liable to get hot during use
• Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system
• When the appliance is not in use and before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the outlet.

Product safety
• DO NOT OPERATE this hot plate near water sources or flammable liquids.
• DO NOT OPERATE this hot plate on or near any hot surface. (Hot plate, electric stoves etc).
• Always operate this from an earthed domestic 220V-240 V~ 50/60Hz power socket.
• Ensure the hot place is placed on a stable, secure surface to eliminate the possibility of tipping over or
avoid any water in the appliance.
• Never try to touch the hot surface of this hot plate before it is cooled down.
