Insert the battery into the battery compartment. The side with the marking
"+" must be facing upwards.

Close the battery compartment by attaching the cover and then, using a
coin, turn it to the right as far as it will go.
Before using the remote control for the fi rst time, you
will have to pull out the plastic strip protruding from
the battery compartment. This plastic strip insulates
the battery and prevents it discharging prematurely.
If the remote control is no longer functioning reli-
ably, you have to replace the battery. To do this,
press the lock tab in the direction of the arrow with
your fi ngernail, and pull the battery carrier out of
the remote control. Remove the discharged battery
and then place a fresh battery of the same type
(CR2025) in the carrier so that the "+" marking is
facing upwards. Slide the battery carrier back into
the remote control.
