BATTERY OPERATION
1. Open battery cover on the rear (9).
2. Insert two 1.5V UM-3 batteries as indicated on the
case. Alkaline cells are recommended.
3. Replace battery cover.
RADIO OPERATION
1. Turn VOLUME KNOB/ON/OFF SWITCH (3) clockwise
to switch the unit ON.
2. Select between FM/MW/SW1-7 using BAND SELEC-
TOR (7).
3. Turn TUNING KNOB (6) to select your favourite radio

station.
4. Turn the VOLUME KNOB/ON/OFF SWITCH (3) to the
desired volume level.

5. For FM reception there is a built in telescopic antenna.
Unwrap the FM antenna and extend it fully. You may
need to adjust the position of the antenna to get opti-

mum reception.
6. Turn the volume down completely using VOLUME
KNOB/ON/OFF SWITCH (3) to switch the unit OFF.
HEADPHONES
For private listening this radio is equipped with a 3.5 mm
headphone socket (4).

BATTERIEN
1. Den Deckel des Batteriefachs auf der Rückseite entfernen.

2. Drei 1.5V Batterien des Typs UM-3 richtig gepolt ins Batte-
riefach einlegen. (Wir empfehlen Alkali-Batterien).
3. Den Deckel des Batteriefachs wieder schliessen.
RUNDFUNKEMPFANG
1. Drehen Sie LAUTSTÄRKEREGLER/AN/AUS-TASTE (3) im
Uhrzeigersinn um das Gerät wieder einschalten.
2. Mit BANDWAHLSCHALTER (7) können Sie zwischen FM/
MW/SW1-7A wählen..
3. Drehen Sie am TUNING-KNOP (6), um Ihren gewünschten
Radiosender auszuwählen.
4. Drehen Sie den LAUTSTÄRKEREGLER/AN/AUS-TASTE
(3) auf die gewünschte Lautstärke.
5. Für den UKW-Empfang ist eine Teleskopantenne ein-
gebaut. Packen Sie die UKW-Antenne und erweitern sie
vollständig. Unter Umständen müssen Sie die Position der
Antenne verändern, um einen optimalen Empfang zu erhal-
ten.
6. Reduzieren Sie die Lautstärke vollständig LAUTSTÄRKE-
REGLER/AN/AUS-TASTE (3) mit dem Gerät auszuschal-
ten.
KOPFHÖRER
Dieses Gerät ist mit einer 3.5 mm Kopfhörer-Buchse (4) au-
sgestattet.

PILES
1. Ouvrir le logement des piles sur l'arrière de l'appareil (9).
2. Introduire deux piles de type UM-3 dans le logement en
veillant à les bien placer conformément au schéma indi-
qué à l'interieur du logement (nous recommandons des
piles Alcal).
3. Fermer le logement.
ECOUTE DE LA RADIO
1. Tourner BOUTON DE VOLUME/INTERRUPTEUR (3)
vers la droite pour allumer l'appareil.
2. Sélectionnez entre FM / MW / SW1-7 utilisant COMMU-
TATEUR DE BANDE (7).
3. Tournez CONTRÔLEUR DE FRÉQUENCE (6) pour
sélectionner la station de radio souhaitée.
4. Tourner BOUTON DE VOLUME/INTERRUPTEUR (3) au
volume désiré.
5. Pour la réception FM, il est intégré dans l'antenne téle-
scopique. Déroulez l'antenne FM et l'étendre à sa pleine
mesure. Tournez l'antenne pour trouver la position qui
permet la meilleure réception.
6. Abaisser le volume à l'aide BOUTON DE VOLUME/
INTERRUPTEUR (3) pour éteindre l'appareil.
CASQUE
Pour permettre l'écoute privé, l'appareil est doté d'une
entrée pour casques stéréo de 3.5 mm (4).
