6.6 Commissioning

• Connect the filter unit to the local voltage supply.
"Pay attention to the identification label"
• Connect the filter unit to the local compressed air supply. Required
compresses air 5-6 bar, clean, dry and oil-free, also see Technical Data.
• Turn off the device with the button labelled "0" and "I".
• The ventilator is running on and the green power indicator light indicates that
the device is in operation.
• Always move the exhaust hood with respect to the weld position as you
advance.
• To increase the safety of the device, the four casters swivel to the outside and
the brakes operate at the front rollers.

6.7 Checking direction of rotation

• Turn the filter device on and shortly off again. In a viewing window on the
control panel of the device, the impeller can be monitored while it is still
running. The fan's rotating direction must match the attached rotating direction
arrow.
• If the direction of rotation is incorrect, two phases must be changed in
the device connector by a qualified electrician.
• The filter unit is now ready and can be switched on.
