1. Turn the device off and pull the mains plug out of the socket.
2. Let the device cool off.
3. Remove any hair, lint or dust from the round brush.
4. If necessary, wipe the housing off with a damp cloth and dry it off with a soft
cloth. If heavily soiled, you can use a small amount of detergent to clean the
housing.
5. You can stow the device by hanging it up by the hook. Store the device in a dry,
frost-free location, not exposed to sunshine that is out of the reach of children
and animals.

Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify
the problem yourself fi rst. Otherwise contact customer service. Do not attempt to
repair a defective device yourself!

Potential cause/solution
• Has the power plug been correctly inserted in the so-
cket? Correct the position of the power plug.
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse for your mains connection.
• The fi rst time you use the device: An odour often develops
when using new devices for the fi rst time. The odour should
disappear once you have used the device a few times.
• When using the brush on towel-dried hair, moisture from
your hair will evaporate.
