3. Place the objects to be cleaned in the basket insert. To achieve the best cleaning result,
ensure that the objects in the basket insert do not touch each other.
4. Fill the water tank (3) with water. Ensure that the water level does not rise above the MAX
marking inside the water tank. Do not overfill the appliance.
5. The water must cover the objects to be cleaned, but should never come above the MAX marking.
6. Close the lid (1) of the appliance.
7. Connect the plug to a suitable wall outlet. The voltage indicated on the type plate of the
appliance must correspond with your mains voltage.
8. Depending on the type and size of the items to be cleaned as well as how dirty they are,
use the timer button (11) to select one of three operating times 2, 4 or 6 minutes. Please
refer to the cleaning table.
9. Select the operating time by repeatedly pressing the timer button (11).
10. It is not recommended to clean the optical items longer than 4 minutes.
NOTE:
The default operating time is 2 minutes.
11. A red operation light indicates the operating time you have selected.
12. Press the on-/off-button (10) to start the selected cleaning process.
13. A blue indicator light (2) illuminates the interior of the appliance and indicates that
cleaning is in process.
14. During the cleaning process, a low vibration sound can be heard. This is normal.
15. After the operating time you have selected is completed, the cleaning process
automatically ends, and the blue indicator light (2) switches off.
16. To stop the cleaning process manually. Press the on-/off-button (10).
17. Remove the plug from the mains socket.
18. Let the appliance cool down when necessary.
19. Open the lid (1) of the appliance and remove the basket insert.
