3.3 Disabling the sleep mode
For recording or operating over longer periods of time you can disa-
ble the sleep mode by pressing the POWER key. When the meter is
off, press and hold the POWER key and the REL/HOLD key at the
same time to disable the sleep mode. When an "n" appears in the
centre of the screen, you can release the power button. The disable
sleep mode will be invalid after power off.

Connection of the sensor to the device

Attention: When connecting the sensor to the device, please pay
attention to the polarity indicated on the device. Never use force to
insert the plug.

Via an infrared interface, the meas-
ured values can be transmitted to a
thermo printer.
To start the infrared transmission on
DT 310, press the backlight key
(light bulb icon) for 2 seconds.
The LCD display blinks and trans-
IR-Diode
mission is in processing. Then it
stops blinking when transmission
completes.
The readings can be printed on the
thermo printer now.
