15. Troubleshooting
Take note of all the safety instructions in these operating instructions!
Problem
No reception
Outdoor sensor is
not recognised
78
Solution
• Distance between base station and outdoor sensor(s) is too
big; bad radio reception due to proximity to metal objects or
electrical/electronic devices. Change the installation site.
• Batteries of the outdoor sensor are weak or empty. Try to
insert new batteries into the outdoor sensor. Afterwards
reregister it on the base station, see chapter 14. i).
• A different transmitter on the same or an adjacent fre-
quency interferes with the radio signal of the outdoor
sensors.
Set a different channel on the outdoor sensor, see chapter
9. b) and 14. i).
• Proceed in the right sequence when you start using it (first
of all insert batteries in the base station than in the outdoor
sensor).
• Register the sensor new (see chapter 14. i).
Wait until the base station receives a data packet from the
outdoor sensor. This can take 1-2 minutes.
• Lessen the distance between outdoor sensor and base
station.
