HDMI™/4K2K 7.1 audio extractor
6.
Connect the power supply unit (1) to the DC input (8) of
HDMI™/4K2K 7.1 audio extractors and then to a 100-240 V~
mains socket.

Switch on connected devices and HDMI™/4K2K 7.1 audio extrac-
tor.
Power LED is illuminated when the unit is connected with power supply
and the HDMI™/4K2K 7.1 Audio Extractor is on.
Link LED is illuminated, when data of the source device are transferred
to the output device.

Operating
1.
Set the selection switch (6) to the preferred audio modus:
a.) "TV":
The HDMI™ singnal is looped through unchanged.
The Extended Display Identification Data
(EDID) feature advises the HDMI™ ouput device
which audio format is supported.
b.) "Bitstream":
The EDID of the HDMI™ output device is limited by
the HDMI™/4K2K 7.1 Audio Extractor to a 5.1 audio
signal. This setting should be used when using the
optical audio output (9).
c.) "LPCM 7.1 CH": The audio settings of the EDID will be replaced by a
7.1 audio signal through the HDMI™/4K2K 7.1 Audio
Extractor. This setting should be used when using
the analog audio outputs (11 - 14).
PCM-LED (3) is illuminated when the output audio EDID is switch to
LPCM 7.1 CH.

Check the audio setting at your output device, if no sound is heard.
Depending on the input audio format, the unit may not output audio sig
nals through all output ports. For Example, the optical output port will
get no audio signal input when the input audio format is > 5.1.
5 Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transport
The products are maintenance-free.

Clean only with a dry, soft cloth.

Do not use cleaning agents and chemicals.
•
Store cool and dry.
•
Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and
dust-protected ambience when not in use.

Keep and use the original packaging for transport.
•
Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct
sunlight, vibration and mechanical pressure.
•
In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trouble and
other problems, non-recoverable by the documentation, contact
your dealer or producer.
