If the discharging process is not interrupted, the charger automatically switches to charging
mode when the rechargeable battery is empty.
Charging switch-off
The charger has a "delta peak" charging switch-off which automatically completes the
charging process when the charging end voltage is reached and switches to trickle charge
mode.
The "TRICKLE" status indicator lamp lights up in green (= battery full) and all other indicator
lamps go out.
Pull the mains plug out of the mains socket first and only then remove the rechargeable battery
from the charger.
Avoid any short-circuits when disconnecting.
A "slight" warming of the rechargeable battery/batteries during charging
is normal.
Never cover the charger and the rechargeable battery to prevent possible
damages (due to heat accumulation).
Disposal
Used electronic devices are raw materials and must not be disposed of in the
domestic waste. When the device has reached the end of its service life, please
dispose of it in accordance with the current statutory requirements at your local
collecting points. It is forbidden to dispose of it in the domestic waste!
Disposal of used batteries/rechargeable batteries
You as end user are under legal obligation (Battery Regulation) to take back all used batteries
and rechargeable batteries; to dispose of them via domestic waste is not permitted.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked
with the following symbols which point out that the disposal via the domestic
waste is prohibited.
The designations for the respective heavy metal are the following: Cd =
cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. You can return used batteries/rechargeable
batteries free of charge to any collecting point in your local authority, to our stores
or to any other store where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
Thus, you comply with the legal obligations and make your contribution to
environmental protection.
