for purchasing your new EHEIM internal filter. This practical Pick-up system
combines optimised performance with maximum reliability and the utmost
efficiency.
Safety instructions
Read the operating and safety instructions carefully and comply with all
instructions prior to operating this device. Keep these operating instructions
in a safe place.
For indoor use only. For use with aquariums.
All electrical equipment in the water must be disconnected from the mains during
care and maintenance work.
The connecting line of this device can not be replaced. When the line is damaged, the
device must no longer be used. Never carry the pump by the cable; do not bend the
cable.
To protect against contact voltage being too high, the fixture must have a residual cur-
rent device with a rated release fault current not exceeding 30 mA. Ask your electrici-

The pump should not run dry. Temperature range from +4°C up to max. +35°C. The
motor is protected from overheating.
For your own safety we recommend that you make a drip loop with the
power cord. This drip loop prevents any water running along the cord
from reaching the electrical socket. If an extension lead with several
sockets or an external power supply is used, place it above the pump
power connection.

Insert the 4 suction cups on the reverse side of the filter and attach
device to the interior wall of the aquarium.

On the rear of the motor housing there is a groove for the cable, which
allows for 3 different cable laying possibilities. The 2 included clips are
for closing the unused apertures, to prevent fry or small fish from
getting trapped in them.
Such items can cause electronic or mechanical interference or damage.
