11. Handling
•
Never turn on the device immediately or connect it to a mains socket, after it has been brought from a cold room
into a warm one. The condensation water created thereby may damage the device.
Allow the appliance to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power supply and switching it on. Wait
until the condensation water has evaporated.
•
Never pull the mains plug by pulling the cable from the socket. Always only use the thus provided grip area.
•
Disconnect the mains plug from the mains supply if the device is not in use for a longer period of time.
•
To ensure sufficient ventilation, do not cover the PA box. Apart from this, the air circulation may not be obstructed
by objects such as magazines, tablecloths, curtains or similar. While the device is in operation, keep a free space
of at least 15 cm around the device.
•
For safety reasons always pull the mains plug from the socket during a thunderstorm.
•
Do not listen to excessively loud music for long periods of time. This may damage your hearing.
12. Maintenance
Check the technical safety of the PA box regularly, e.g. check for damage to the power cable or to the housing.
If you have a reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and secure
it against being operated unintentionally. Switch off the PA box and disconnect from the mains supply.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
•
the device shows visible damages
•
the device no longer works
•
it has been stored for a long time under unfavourable conditions
•
it was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport
