Setup
Ensure proper ventilation is provided when setting up the device.
Never place the product on soft surfaces such as, for example, a carpet or a bed, etc.
Apart from this, the air circulation may not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, table
cloths, curtains or similar. This prevents the heat from escaping from the device and can lead
to overheating (fire hazard).
Do not drill any holes or screw any screws into the housing of the mixer to fasten the device.
This can damage the device.
Make sure that the surface is secure and the base stable when setting up the device. There is
risk of persons being injured if the mixer fell over.
When setting up the device, make sure that the connection cable is not being pinched or
damaged by any sharp edges.
Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. Risk of injury.
When selecting a location for the aerial, make sure it is not exposed to direct, intensive sunlight,
vibration, dust, heat, cold and humidity.
Make sure there are no devices with strong electric or magnetic fields such as transformers,
motors, cordless telephones and radio-controlled devices in the vicinity of the mixer as these
can influence the mixer.
Never place the device on valuable or delicate furniture surfaces without providing sufficient protection.
Connection
Before connection, disconnect the mixer and all other devices which are to be connected to the
mixer from the mains voltage (pull the power pack unit out of the socket).
For connecting the cinch in and outputs, use only shielded cinch cables suitable for this
purpose. Please only use appropriate USB cables for connecting the USB interface and
appropriate microphone cables for connecting the microphone input . Using incorrect cables
may lead to interference.
To avoid distortion or mismatching which may damage the mixer, only connect output devices
with a cinch output to the cinch inputs of the mixer. Only devices with cinch inputs may be
connected to the mixer's cinch outputs.
For this, observe also the connection values in the section "Technical Data".
