Using the LCD-monitor
8.1
Switching on the monitor (fig. 0, page 6)

The monitor is switched on automatically, if you shift into reverse gear. The pic-
ture from camera 1 is transmitted.
If you have connected a side camera, the monitor is switched on automatically,
if you actuate the indicator. The picture from camera 2 is transmitted.
If the monitor is switched off, press the "Power" switch (10), to switch the monitor on.
The picture appears.
Depending on the camera that was switched on last, LED "C1" (7, camera 1) or LED
"C2" (8, camera 2) will be lit.
Test if the mirror function (see chapter "Operating elements" on page 36) is correctly
set.
The setting should be such that an obstacle behind the vehicle on the right also ap-
pears on the right in the monitor.
8.2
Switching off the monitor (fig. 0, page 6)
Press the main switch "Power" (10), to switch off the monitor.
The picture disappears.
8.3
Switching the monitor to day mode or night mode
(fig. 0, page 6)
When in night mode, the monitor darkens the image on the monitor to prevent glaring light
that can distract the driver.
Press the main switch "MODE" (3).
The monitor is switched from day mode to night mode or vice versa.
This LED "COLOR" (9) is lit orange if the monitor is operating in day mode.
This LED "COLOR" (9) is lit green if the monitor is operating in night mode.
8.4
Setting the volume (fig. 0, page 6)
You can set the volume to amplify or mute the the noises transmitted by the camera.
Press the "–" button (5) to reduce the volume.
Press the "+" button (6) to increase the volume.
