Intended use
The intended use comprises non-contact measuring of temperatu-
res ranging from -50 to +900 °C and contact temperature measuring
ranging from -50 to 1370 °C using the optional K-type sensor. Use a
type 006P, IEC6F22, NEDA 1604 or constructionally identical 9 V
battery only for power supply.
Operation is only permitted in a dry environment; contact with humi-
dity must be avoided at all times.
Measurements must not be carried out under unfavourable ambient
conditions. Unfavourable ambient conditions include the following:
dust and inflammable gases, vapours or solvents, storms or stormy
conditions such as strong electrostatic fields, etc.
Any use other than that described above will cause
damage to this product. In addition, this may lead to
hazards such as short circuits, fire etc. The product
as a whole may not be opened, modified or recon-
structed.
