Basic functions

a) Turning the player on
Set the slider on the back to "ON" and press "PLAY" for approx. 1 second. After a brief welcome
message, the selection menu appears on the LC display.
b) Turning the player off
Move the slide switch on the back to the position "OFF".

In the settings, you can select when the device is supposed to turn off
automatically if no button is pressed or if nothing is played back (it it is not
connected to a computer via USB).

c) Main menu, function selection

In the main menu, you select the individual functions with the buttons "FF" and "RW"; conform
your selection with a brief push of the button "MENU".
In order to return to the main menu, press the button "MENU" a bit longer (approx. 1 second).

d) Key lock

Keep the button "EQ/HOLD" depressed for approx. 1 second until a padlock icon appears on
the display. Now all keys are without function.
To cancel the key lock, press the button "EQ/HOLD" again for approx. 1 second until the
padlock icon disappears again.
