• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be
changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by a
leaking battery. Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves
and glasses when handling leaked batteries.
Important information on product safety!
• Do not expose the instrument to extreme temperatures,
vibration or shock.

A 1: Upper display
• The upper display shows the indoor temperature (IN).
A 2: Middle display
• The middle display shows the outdoor temperature
(OUT) via cable.
A 3: Lower display
• The lower display shows the indoor humidity.

6. Getting started
• Open the battery compartment and insert the battery (1 x
1.5 V AAA), polarity as illustrated.
• The unit is now ready to use.

7. Maximum and minimum values
• Press the MAX/MIN button and the highest indoor and out-
door temperatures and the humidity (MAX) are displayed
since the last reset.
• Press the MAX/MIN button again, the display shows the low-
est indoor and outdoor temperatures and the humidity (MIN)
since the last reset.
• To go back to the present values, press the MAX/MIN button
once more .
• Press the R button while the maximum and minimum values
are displayed to clear the recorded maximum and minimum
readings and the actual values appear.
• The instrument will automatically quit the MAX/MIN mode if
no button is pressed within 10 seconds.
8. Temperature indication
• Slide the °C/°F switch at the backside to change between °C
(Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as temperature unit.
9. Attachment
• Position the thermometer near a window using the built-in
hanging slot with a nail or a screw or the table stand.
• Lead the cable with the sensing element through the open
window to the outside. The cable adapts to the window seal-
ing shape. Take care of sharp-edged window frames – avoid
frequent opening and closing the window.
• Avoid radiators and direct sunshine.
10. Care and maintenance
• Clean the instrument and the cable with a soft damp cloth.
Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Remove the battery if you do not use the product for a
lengthy period.
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.
10.1 Battery replacement
• Replace the battery when the display starts to fade.
• Open the battery compartment at the backside of the instru-
ment and insert one new battery 1.5 V AAA, making sure the
polarity is correct. Close the battery compartment again.
