Replacing the Battery
A battery replacement becomes necessary if the display contrast is decreasing or if there is no display at all
in the weather station or outdoor sensor (the display of the outdoor sensor might display a battery symbol if
the batteries are low).
If the outdoor sensor is not recognised any longer after replacing the batteries of the weather station, remove
the batteries from the weather station and the outdoor sensor and proceed as described in chapter „Start-up".
If only bars appear in the weather station's display area for outside temperature/humidity, the batteries are low
and must be replaced.
You can search for the outside sensor by pressing the „SEARCH" button. The outdoor sensor is permanently
set to channel 1; this cannot be changed; the weather station can only recognise one single outside sensor
und display its data.
Starting the DCF reception
• Press and hold both keys „+12/24" (7) and „-" (11) simultaneously for approx. 3 seconds until the radio tower
symbol „ " flashes.
• Release the buttons. The weather station now performs a new search for the DCF signal, the radio tower
symbol blinks. It can take 3-5 minutes until the complete signal is read out and the time and date are shown
in the display.
Do not press any key during the reception attempt; do not move the weather station.
• If the reception is faultless, the symbol „
Switching off the DCF reception
• Press and hold both keys „+12/24" (7) and „-" (11) simultaneously for approx. 3 seconds until the radio tower
symbol „ " flashes.
• Release the buttons and then press and hold them again for about 3 seconds until the radio tower symbol
„ " disappears.
Switching off the DCF reception makes sense if DCF reception is not possible at the installation
site (e.g. in a cellar). Unavailing reception attempts lead to a higher energy consumption and
thus, to more frequent battery replacements!
• If you have switched off the DCF reception, set the time and date manually, see next chapter.
Setting the time/date, time zone or display language
manually
• First of all, switch off the DCF reception, see above.
• Press the button „MODE" (6) for approx. 3 seconds until the hours of the time start to flash.
• Set the hours with the „+ 12/24" (7) and „-" (11) buttons.
• Press the „MODE" key (6) briefly to go to the next setting.
You can adjust the following settings one after another: Minutes, seconds (only resetting to „00" is possible),
year, month, day, time zone (+12hr to -12h), language for the weekday. Afterwards the setting mode is
finished automatically.
If you don't press any button for 5 seconds, the settings are saved and the setting mode will be
exited automatically.
The following languages are available to display the weekday:
GER

FRA
= French
ESP

ITA

NET
= Dutch
DAN

ENG

Please note:
If only the time zone or the display language is set, the DCF reception remains activated.
However, if the time or date are changed the DCF reception is automatically switched off!
