Maintenance and disposal
Maintenance
Regularly inspect the mechanical safety of your projection radio-
controlled clock, e.g. for damage to the power cable or housing.
If it has been ascertained that safe operation is no longer possible,
take the device out of operation and secure it against accidental reac-
tivation. Pull the power plug from the outlet and remove the batteries!
It can be assumed safe operation is no longer possible if:
• the power supply or cables show visible damage
• the power supply no long works
• after longer storage under unfavourable conditions
• after heavy transport stresses
Before cleaning or maintaining the projection radio-controlled
clock, observe the following safety instructions:
When opening the covers or removing parts of the
casing, you may expose live parts.
Therefore you have to disconnect the device from all
voltage sources and connections prior to performing
maintenance or repair work.
