Empfohlene Einbauorte
- Bauen Sie das Gerät an einem zentralen Ort ein, damit der Alarm in allen Räumen hörbar ist.
- Bauen Sie das Gerät mindestens 1,5 Meter über dem Boden ein.

Einbau des Produktes
1. Schieben Sie die Montageplatte vom Gerät (2).
2. Markieren Sie die Löcher in den Wänden unter Verwendung der Montageplatte.
3. Bohren Sie5 mm große Löcher in die Wand und setzen Sie die mitgelieferten Dübel in die
Löcher ein.
4. Schrauben Sie die Montageplatte an die Wand mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben (3).
5. Schieben Sie das Gerät auf die Montageplatte (4).
6. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose (5), die grüne POWER-LED leuchtet auf und Sie
werden einen kurzen Piepton hören. Das Gerät wird sich vier Minuten akklimatisieren, hierzu
wird die rotenCO- und GAS-LEDs blinken.
ACHTUNG! Drücken Sie nicht sofort den TEST-Knopf!Warten Sie ungefähr 30 Sekunden.
BEDIENUNG DES CO- UND GAS-MELDERS
Prüfung des Gerätes
ACHTUNG! Die grüne LED mussimmer aufleuchten; diese zeigt an, dass das Gerät
eingeschaltet ist. Wenn die grüne LED ausgeschaltet ist, überprüfen Sie zuerst
ob der Netzstecker in die Steckdose eingesteckt ist und ob auf der Steckdose
Strom ist.Wenndies nicht das Problem ist, muss das Gerät ersetzt werden.
- Halten Sie den TEST-Knopf gedrückt. Der Alarm ertönt, die roten LEDs CO- und GAS- LEDs

Was tun wenn der Alarm ertönt
1. Drücken Sie den HUSH-Knopf.

Notdienst.
5. Gehen Sie nicht zurück ins Gebäude in die Nähe der geöffneten Türen/Fenster bis der Notdienst

Gerät sorgfältig.
- Schrauben Sie nicht das Gehäuse des Gerätes ab; dadurch erlischt Ihre Gewährleistung.
- Vermeiden Sie Schäden am Sensor des Gerätes.Hohe Konzentrationen dieser Substanzen
können den Sensor beschädigen, dies führt meistens zu einem Fehlalarm:Methan, Propan,

Was ist Kohlenmonoxid

GEFÄHRLICHE GASE
Der CO und Gas-Melder kann zwei Gasarten erkennen, LPG und NG.
LPG : Steht für Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Flüssiggas), das auch als Autogas bekannt ist. Wenn
LPG sich in einem bestimmten Mengenverhältnis mit Luft vermischt kann eine sehr
explosive Mischung entstehen.
NG : Steht für Natural Gas (Erdgas). Erdgas kann man riechen und es ist sehr explosiv. Erdgas
wird auch als Energiequelle zum Kochen verwendet z.B. beim Gasherd.
Symptome nach Einatmung gefährlicher Gase
LPG : Propandampf wirkt leicht berauschend. Das bedeutet, dass das Einatmen hoher
Konzentrationen Betäubung oder Bewusstlosigkeit verursachen kann.Eine anhaltende
Einatmung hoher Konzentrationen kann Sauerstoffmangel verursachen.
NG : Erdgas ist nicht giftig beim Einatmen, solange genügend Sauerstoff vorhanden ist.Mitder
Freigabe von Erdgasen besteht Erstickungsgefahr durch Reduzierung des
Sauerstoffgehaltes. Bei Sauerstoffmangel können Sie das Bewusstsein verlieren oder
sterben.

MONTAŻ
Zalecane miejsca montażu
- Zamontować urządzenie w centralnym miejscu domu, aby alarm był słyszalny w

- Nie montować urządzenia w środowisku zakurzonym, zabrudzonym lub tłustym. Kurz oraz
środki czyszczące mogą wpływać na działanie urządzenia.
- Nie montować w pomieszczeniach wilgotnych.
- Nie montować za zasłonami lub nad kuchenką.
- Ze względów konserwacyjnych oraz ze względu na istniejące przyciski, nie montować w miejscu
niedostępnym.
Montaż produktu
1. Zsunąć płytkę montażową z urządzenia (2).
2. Używając płytki montażowej, zaznaczyć miejsca otworów na ścianie.
3. Wywiercić w ścianie otwory o średnicy 5 mm i umieścić w nich załączone kołki.
4. Przykręcić płytkę montażową do ściany z użyciem załączonych wkrętów (3).
5. Wsunąć urządzenie na płytkę montażową (4).
6. Włożyć wtyczkę do gniazdka (5). Świeci zielona dioda POWER i słychać krótki sygnał
dźwiękowy. Urządzenie będzie się aklimatyzowało przez cztery minuty. Przez ten czas migają
czerwone diody CO i GAS.
UWAGA! Nie wciskać od razu przycisku TEST! Odczekać około 30 sekund.
DZIAŁANIE CZUJNIKA CO I GAZU
Test urządzenia
UWAGA! Zielona dioda musi świecić zawsze. Wskazuje to, że urządzenie jest włączone.
Jeśli zielona dioda nie świeci, najpierw należy sprawdzić, czy wtyczka znajduje się
w gniazdku oraz czy w gniazdku jest zasilanie. Jeśli nie to jest przyczyną, należy
wymienić urządzenie.
- Wcisnąć i przytrzymać przycisk TEST. Rozlegnie się alarm. Czerwone diody CO i GAS świecą w
sposób ciągły, a czerwona dioda ALARM miga.
Wyłączanie dźwięku alarmu
- Gdy rozlegnie się alarm, wcisnąć przycisk HUSH, aby wyłączyć alarm. Po upływie trzech minut

Co zrobić, gdy rozlegnie się alarm
1. Wcisnąć przycisk HUSH.
2. Zamknąć dopływ gazu i wyłączyć urządzenia spalające o ile to możliwe.
3. Wyjść na świeże powietrze bezpośrednio na dwór lub otworzyć wszystkie drzwi/okna, aby

poszukać pomocy medycznej.
7. Nie korzystać z urządzeń do czasu, aż zostaną sprawdzone przez specjalistę, a błędy zostaną
wykryte i usunięte.
OSTRZEŻENIE! Alarm oznacza wystąpienie niebezpiecznego stężenia tlenku węgla. Wdychanie
tlenku węgla może być groźne dla życia.
PODSTAWOWE INFORMACJE DOTYCZĄCE KONSERWACJI
- Raz w tygodniu sprawdzać, czy alarm i diody działają.
- Regularnie czyścić urządzenie, aby uniknąć gromadzenia się kurzu. Można to robić raz w
miesiącu za pomocą odkurzacza ze szczotką lub wilgotnej szmatki. Urządzenie należy czyścić
ostrożnie.
- Nie zdejmować obudowy urządzenia - spowoduje to utratę gwarancji.
- Unikać uszkodzenia czujnika urządzenia. Wysokie stężenia poniższych substancji mogą
uszkodzić czujnik, co zwykle powoduje wystąpienie fałszywego alarmu: metan, propan,
izobutan, etylen, etanol, alkohol, izopropanol, benzen, toluen, octan etylu, wodór, siarkowodór,
dwutlenek siarki. Poza tym, czujnik uszkodzić mogą puszki z aerozolem, produkty alkoholowe,
farby, rozpuszczalniki, kleje, lakier do włosów, woda po goleniu, perfumy i niektóre środki
czyszczące.
TLENEK WĘGLA
Czym jest tlenek węgla?
Tlenek węgla to zdradziecka trucizna, powstająca przy spalaniu paliw. Ten gaz nie ma barwy, zapachu i
smaku, dlatego trudno go wykryć ludzkimi zmysłami. CO każdego roku zabija setki ludzi, a okalecza
znacznie więcej. Wiąże się z hemoglobiną we krwi i zmniejsza procentową zawartość tlenu w
krwioobiegu. Wysokie stężenie CO potrafi zabić w ciągu kilku minut. CO powstaje przy niepełnym
spaleniu następujących paliw: drewno, węgiel drzewny, węgiel kamienny, olej, parafina, benzyna, gaz
ziemny, propan, butan itp.

Niebezpieczne gazy
Czujnik CO i gazu z alarmem wykrywa dwa rodzaje gazu - LPG i gaz ziemny.
LPG : to skrót od Liquefied Petroleum Gas - gaz płynny, znany również jako autogaz. Jeśli LPG
zmiesza się z powietrzem w pewnych proporcjach, może powstać bardzo wybuchowa
mieszanka.
Gaz : ziemny ma zapach i jest bardzo wybuchowy. Gaz ziemny jest również wykorzystywany
jako źródło energii do przygotowywania potraw - np. w kuchenkach gazowych.
Objawy występujące po wdychaniu niebezpiecznych gazów
LPG : Opary propanu są lekko toksyczne. Oznacza to, że wdychanie dużego stężenia może
spowodować znieczulenie lub utratę świadomości. Długotrwałe wdychanie dużych stężeń
może powodować zamartwicę.
Gaz : Gaz ziemny nie powoduje zatrucia poprzez wdychanie, o ile występuje dostateczna ilość
tlenu. Przy uwalnianiu gazu ziemnego może dojść do uduszenia z powodu zmniejszonej
zawartości tlenu. Można utracić świadomość lub ponieść śmierć
