d) Inserting the drive batteries into the vehicle
Important!
This vehicle is suitable for use with two lithium-ion batteries of type "18650" (rated voltage each 3.7 V).
Never use other rechargeable or disposable batteries in the vehicle.
First, switch the vehicle off (for the position of the sliding
switch, see the arrow in the figure to the right).
To insert the two batteries, remove the two covers (A) on
the left and right of the vehicle, these are only clipped in
place.
Place the two batteries with the correct polarity into the
two battery compartments (B) (note positive/+ and nega-
tive/-, see the label in the battery compartments).
Clip on the covers again (A).
Important!
Both drive batteries must be charged to the same level. Never insert a fully charged and a partially charged
drive battery, but charge both drive batteries using the supplied battery charger before use.
e) Operating the transmitter
Move the "STEERING TRIM" (6) and "THROTTLE TRIM" (9) dials to the centre position. Then, switch the transmitter
on using with the On/Off switch (8) (switch position "ON" = on).
The red LED (7) on the transmitter flashes slowly (1x flash, pause, 1x flash, etc.) This indicates that the
transmitter is attempting to connect to the receiver.
If the LED flashes 2x followed by a pause, the batteries are weak and must be replaced.
