4.2 Explanation of the application range
ES 32-L
Our electric-hydraulic cutting tool can cut copper
and aluminium cables up to a maximum diame-
ter of 32 mm.
Attention
Do not cut steel reinforced cables/conduc-
tors, ground rod, guy wire etc..
Attention
Do only cut fi ne stranded cables acc. to EN
60228 cat. 5&6 near the pivot (see pic. 12)!
If different conducting materials have to be cut, please contact the manufacturer.
Attention
Do not cut live cables or conductors. This is not an insulated tool.
The hand held tool is not supposed to be restrained in a vise. It is not allowed to use the tool in a stationary applica-
tion.
The tool is not designed for continued cutting operations. After a sequence of approximately 30-40 completed cuts
you have to make a break of 15 min. to give the tool time to cool down.

Too intensive use can cause heat damages for the tool

During the operation of electric engines sparks can occur which might ignite highly infl ammable or explosi-
ve liquids and materials
Attention
Electric-hydraulic cutting tools should not be operated in pouring rain or under water.

Attention
Do not cut compacted multi stranded or so-
lid cables/conductors or similar.
Attention
The blades are very sharp! Please wear
gloves!
