    Die Zentrifuge darf nicht mehr in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn der Schleuderraum sicherheitsrelevante Schäden aufweist.  Bei Ausschwingrotoren müssen die Tragzapfen regelmäßig gefettet werden (Hettich-Schmierfett Nr. 4051), um ein gleichmäßiges Ausschwingen der Gehänge zu gewährleisten.  Bei Zentrifugen ohne Temperaturregelung kann es bei erhöhter Raumtemperatur und/oder bei häufigem Gebrauch des Gerätes zur Erwärmung des Schleuderraums kommen.

    Einstellungen während des Zentrifugationslaufes ändern Die Laufzeit, die Drehzahl, die Relative Zentrifugalbeschleunigung (RCF/RZB), die Anlauf- und Auslauf-Parameter sowie die Temperatur können während des Zentrifugationslaufes verändert werden. Die Parameter können nur einzeln und nacheinander verändert werden.  Den gewünschten Parameter anwählen und mit dem Drehknopf den Wert verändern (siehe Kapitel "Zentrifugations-Parameter eingeben").

Nach 8 Sekunden wird SOUND / BELL XXX angezeigt.  Die Taste noch 2x drücken. Das Datum und die Uhrzeit werden angezeigt (a: Jahr, mon: Monat, d: Tag, h: Stunden, min: Minuten).

    Programmverknüpfung (nur bei Zentrifuge mit Programmverknüpfung) Mit Hilfe der Programmverknüpfung können mehrere Zentrifugationsläufe miteinander verknüpft werden. 28.1 Programme verknüpfen Eine Programmverknüpfung ist nur mit Programmen möglich, bei denen Anlauf- und Bremsstufen eingestellt sind. Die Programme müssen vor der Verknüpfung entweder durch Programm-Eingabe oder Programm-Abruf in der gewünschten Reihenfolge gespeichert werden (siehe Kapitel "Programmierung").

Bei Zentrifugen mit Option Heizen/Kühlen ist der Temperatur-Sollwert von -20°C bis +90°C einstellbar. Die tiefste erreichbare Temperatur ist rotorabhängig (siehe Kapitel "Anhang/Appendix, Rotoren und Zubehör/Rotors and accessories"). Weicht die Ist-Temperatur von der Soll- Temperatur um mehr als 5 °C ab, wird dies durch eine blinkende Anzeige des Temperaturwertes signalisiert.
