COMBUSTION HEAD SETTING,

Combustion head adjustment varies depending on
burner delivery. To adjust, proceed as follows:

Turn adjusting screw (2) clockwise or anticlockwise
until the notch on the regulating rod (3) is lined up with
the outer surface of the nozzle-holder assembly (1).

In the example, the regulating rod (3) is set to setpoint
3. This means the burner is adjusted for an output of
2.7 kg/h with a pump pressure of 12 bar using a
0.75 GPH nozzle, as indicated in the reference table
relating to burner type 370T1.
4.6 AIR DAMPER ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the air damper proceed as follows:

Loosen nut (5, fig. 14) and set the valve by adjusting
the screw (4).

When the adjustment is complete screw down nut (5).
Type 370T1 - BGK1
When the burner stops, the air damper closes automati-
cally until maximum negative flue pressure is 0.5 mbar.
Type 374T1 - BGK2
When the burner stops, the air damper stays open.

4.7 POSITIONING OF THE OPTICAL FIBRE,

To position the optical fibre, you must proceed as follows:

Insert optical fibre (1) in the diffuser disc support assembly (3), making sure it is pushed in all the way.

Tighten screw (4) carefully to hold optical fibre (1) in place.
4.8 ELECTRODES ADJUSTMENT,

Do the following make the regu-
lation:
lean the diffuser disc-holder as-
sembly 3) on the nozzle-holder 2)
and lock it by screw 4). For pros-
p e c t i v e a d j u s t m e n t s o f t h e
electrodes assembly 5), loosen
screw 6).
4.9

FUEL HEATING

In order to assure regular ignition and operation even at low temperatures, the burner has an oil heater fitted in
the combustion head. The heater starts when the thermostats close.
When the required temperature for ignition is reached, a thermostat fitted on the nozzle holder enables burner
start-up. Heating stays on during operation and switches off when the burner shuts down.
