Check sealing surfaces inside the spray gun [8-2] after disassembly,
clean them, if required. Should the sealing surfaces be damaged,
please contact your SATA dealer. Align new air distribution ring by
means of the 12 o'clock marking [8-3], (pin into drilling) and press in
with even force. Adjust material flow according to chapter 7.2 after in-

9.3. Replacing the Paint Needle Sealing
[9-2] und [9-3]
When paint material leaks from the self-tensioning paint needle packing,
it needs to be replaced. Remove trigger according to [9.2]. After disas-
sembly, check if paint needle is damaged or replace the nozzle set, if
required. Adjust material flow according to chapter 7.2 after installation.
9.4. Replacing the Air Piston, Air Piston Spring
and Air Micrometer
• Disconnect paint spray gun from the compressed air circuit!
When air leaks from the air cap or the air micrometer without the trigger
being pulled, they need to be replaced. After disassembly, grease the air
micrometer and spring with SATA high performance grease (Art. No.
48173), insert them together with the air piston and tighten the locking
screw [10-1]. Adjust material flow according to chapter 7.2 after installa-
