Check the washers in the steam plug
(B1) at regular intervals. Replace them
if necessary. Carry out the same
checks for the connecting washers of
the steam suction pipe (C) and the han-
dle (A).
EPA filter
The machine is equipped with a EPA filter
(15) that you can clean under flowing water.
Proceed as follows to clean the filter.
Remove the water filter container (17) ac-
cording to the instructions in the chapter
"Filling the water filter container".
Lift the unhooking lever (16) of the EPA
filter and remove the filter from its posi-
tion (Fig. 12).
Rinse the EPA filter under cold flowing
water. Shake the EPA filter carefully af-
ter cleaning so that any residual dirt or
excess water is removed.
Note! Let the EPA filter dry but keep it
away from any sources of light or heat.
Insert only the dry EPA filter back into
the machine.
Replace the EPA filter if found to be
damaged.
Clean the EPA filter regularly at inter-
vals of 4 months.
Ensure that the EPA filter (15) is posi-
tioned correctly in the holders. Then
block the lever (16). (Fig. 12).
Caution!
Do not clean the EPA filter using a
brush as it can get damaged and its fil-
tering capacity can get reduced.
Do not use any cleaning agents, do not
rub the EPA filter and do not clean it in
the dish-washer.
EPA filters are available with the au-
thorised Customer Service agents.

Troubleshooting
Often, failures have simple causes and you
can do the troubleshooting yourself using
the following overview. If you are in doubt
or if the failure is not listed here please con-
tact the authorized customer service.
Danger
Always disconnect the mains plug and al-
low the steam cleaner to cool down before
performing any maintenance work.
Repair works may only be performed by the
authorized customer service.
Vacuum cleaning does not start
There is no mains supply.
Check the mains plug and mains sock-
et.
Poor vacuum cleaning
Nozzle, suction hose or suction pipe
may be blocked.
Clean the water filter inlay. Remove
blocks, if any, from the tubes and ac-
cessories.
Change the water in the water filter con-
tainer.
EPA filter worn out.
Replace the EPA filter.
Poor cleaning performance
Water in the water filter container is very
dirty.
Change the water in the water filter con-
tainer.
Water leaks out while sucking in
The float switch is blocked.
Clean the lid of the water filter contain-
er.
The vacuum cleaner does not suck
Float switch is blocking.
Switch off the vacuum cleaner, ensure
that the water level in the reservoir is
correct and switch on the machine
again.
