Styling ringlets or loose curls
 Fit the large curling tong to the appliance as described above. To style ringlets,
fit the ringlet attachment to the curling tong.
 Divide the hair into sections. Press the tong lever. Take a section of hair (approx.
2 cm wide) and clamp it between the tong and the lever. Release the lever to
clamp the lock of hair.
When styling ringlets, wind the lock of hair around the curling tong along the
spiral.
 Hold the curling tong firmly by the cold plastic cap and the handle and wrap the
entire lock of hair around the curling tong.
 Leave the lock of hair in the curling tong for a few seconds and then unwind the
hair in the opposite direction until you can press the lever to remove the lock of
hair from the appliance.
Styling waves
 Fit the small curling tong with the round brush attachment to the appliance as
described above.
 Wrap the entire lock around the round brush attachment.
 Allow the curling tong to work on the hair for a few seconds and then unwind
the lock of hair in the opposite direction.
Crimping hair
 Divide the hair into sections.
 Press the tong lever.
 Place a lock of hair (approx. 2 cm wide) between the crimping plates and close
the crimper by releasing the lever. Start at the scalp and work towards the ends.
Allow the crimping plates to work on the hair for a few seconds.
 Open the crimping plates and place them further down the strand, starting at
the last crimp.
NOTICE
When using the crimper/straightening iron, some steam can be formed
due to the evaporation of sebum, humidity or residual hair products.

Straightening hair

NOTICE
 To avoid damaging the hair, do not leave the straightening iron in
one place for too long.
 Divide the hair into sections. Hold a strand of hair (approx. 2–3 cm wide) taut
and place the heating plates at the hairline.
 Move the straightening iron from the hairline to the tips in one slow and smooth
movement.
