General

The ceramic fan heater 1500 W is suitable for individual use in closed and dry rooms. A
powerful fan distributes the heated air in the room, thereby quickly ensuring a pleasant
room temperature, especially in transitional periods or on extremely cold days. The fan
heater also has a cold air setting, allowing it to be used as a ventilator in summer.

Type plate

The type plate of the fan heater with all relevant technical data is attached on the rear of
the appliance.
1.3

Area of application and intended use

This appliance is constructed according to the state of the art and the recognized technical
rules of safety. Nevertheless, improper use or use other than that intended can result in
hazards to the life and limb of the user or third parties or damage to the appliance itself
and/or other tangible assets.
This portable, electric fan heater is suitable for heating closed, dry rooms during the tran-
sitional period. The appliance can also be used as additional heating on extremely cold
days. Thanks to an additional cold air setting, this appliance can also be used as a ventila-
tor in summer.
A different use or a use extending beyond this is deemed to be improper. The ser shall bear
the risk. Proper and correct use also includes observance of the perating and installation
notes as well as compliance with the maintenance terms.

Product safety

In order to avoid potential hazards in advance, the following safety devices have been
installed by the manufacturer as standard:
Overheating protection
If the maximum permitted appliance temperature is exceeded, the appliance will automati-
cally switch off and cannot be restarted until it has cooled down.
Anti-tipping protection
The anti-tipping protection is triggered as soon as the appliance exceeds a definite angle
of inclination. At the same time, the appliance switches off automatically. To start operating
the appliance again, this must be in a vertical position.
