Overview
Selection of gas valve assembly
Selection of gas valve assembly
The gas-pressure loss indicated in the
table is to be added to the furnace
pressure reading (in mbar).

Example:
· Specifications:
Type of gas supply: Natural gas E
–
Required burner power: 400 kW
–
Furnace pressure at rated boiler load: 2 mbar
–
Gas flow pressure at supply station at rated boiler load : 20 mbar
–
Pressure loss in gas pipe at rated boiler load : 1 mbar
–
· Selected gas valve assembly: MZRDLE 412
· Testing of selection:
Gas pressure loss (from table):
–
Furnace pressure:
–
Pressure loss in gas pipe :
–
Total
–
Given: Gas flow pressure 20 mbar > 19 mbar ð Selection MBZRDLE 412 correct.
–
IMPORTANT:
The gas-flow pressure determined is to
be maintained at the inlet of the
gas-valve assembly. When determining
the gas-flow pressure required at the
transfer point, remember to take into
account the resistance of the burner
feed-conduit and its fittings (ball valve,
TAS, additional filter or meter).
