• Do not replace oil with the engine in a tilted positionέ
• Filling with oil while engine is tilted leads to overilling which causes oil contamination andήor white smokeέ

ά If oil spills out between the fuel tank and engine main unit, the oil is sucked into through the cooling air intake port, which will contaminate
the engineέ Be sure to wipe out spilled oil before start of operationέ
REFUELLING
Handling of fuel
It is necessary to handle fuel with utmost careέ Fuel may contain substances similar to solventsέ Refuelling must be performed in a suficiently
ventilated room or in the open airέ σever inhale fuel vapors, and keep fuel away from youέ If you touch fuel repeatedly or for a long time, the
skin becomes dry, which may cause skin disease or allergyέ If fuel comes into the eye, clean the eye with fresh waterέ If your eye remains still
irritated, consult your doctorέ
Storage period of fuel
Fuel should be used within a period of 4 weeks, even if it is kept in a special container in a wellάventilated and shaded areaέ
τtherwise, fuel may deteriorate in one dayέ

ά σever keep the fuel in a carέ
Fuel
The engine is a fourάstroke engineέ Be sure to use an unleaded automobile gasoline κι or higher octane ((R+ε)ήβ)έ It may contain no more than
1ί% alcohol (Eά1ί)έ
Points for fuel
ά σever use a gasoline mixture which contains engine oilέ τtherwise, it will cause excessive carbon accumulation or mechanical troublesέ
ά Use of deteriorated oil will cause irregular startάupέ
Refuelling
WARNING: INFLAMMABLES STRICTLY PROHIBITED
ά δoosen the tank cap a little to release the tank pressureέ
ά Detach the tank cap, and refuel, discharging air by tilting the fuel tank so that the refuel port will be oriented upwardέ (Dτ στT ill fuel up to
the top of the tankέ)
ά Wipe well the periphery of the tank cap to prevent foreign matter from entering the fuel tankέ
ά After refuelling, securely tighten the tank capέ
• If there is any law or damage on the tank cap, replace itέ
• The tank cap wears out in course of timeέ Replace it every two to three yearsέ
