Pour la réception FM il est nécessaire de sortir
l'antenne télescopique. Il est possible que la qua-
lité de réception s'améloire en tournant, sortant
ou entrant l'antenne.
Pour la réception SW il est nécessaire de sortir
complètement l'antenne télescopique et de la
positionner verticalement pour obtenir une récep-
tion optimale.

Eclairage de l'écran
Le rétro-éclairage de l'écran facilite le fonctionnement de l'appareil dans l'ob-
scurité. Appuyer sur la touche (5) pour activer le rétro-éclairage de l'écran.
Après quelques secondes l'éclairage s'éteint automatiquement pour écono-
miser de l'énergie.

Si la réception est trop faible
(par ex. dans la banlieue) il est
également possible d'utiliser
l'antenne filaire. A cet effet,
brancher la fiche jack de l'an-
tenne filaire dans la douille (15).
Ensuite étendre l'antenne filaire
avec précaution et la fixer à l'ai-
de du clip par ex. à la fenêtre.
Cela
permet
d'améliorer
la
réception FM et SW.
Manual station search
With this feature, you can search for a station manually. Switch the device on
with the key (11) and operate the band switch (10) to select the desired band
(FM, MW or SW1, SW2)!
Press the key "Up/Hour" (14) or "Down/Min" (12) repeatedly (only briefly) and
you can search for the station step by step either forwards or backwards!
Each time when you press these keys, the frequency indicator jumps forward
by one step until the desired station has been reached.
Note
The manual search run also detects weaker stations (signals).
Direct station input
With this feature you can enter the frequency of stations directly. Switch the
device on with the key (11) and operate the band switch (10) to select the
desired band (FM, MW or SW1, SW2)!
Press the key (3) – now a blank frequency display will appear. Now enter the
desired frequency on the keyboard (2 ) a 0...9! The frequency which you have
entered will appear in the display. Then press the key (3) once again to ack-
nowledge your input.
e.g.
FM 99.3MHz
Switch the device on using the key (11) and operate
the band switch (10) to select the desired band (FM)!
Then press the button (3) once followed by the key
combination 9-9-3. Now press the button (3) again
and the display shows 99.3MHz.
