Cause
There are labels missing on the media.
The label size defined in the format sent to
the printer does not match the actual media
size.
Continuous media is loaded in the printer,
but the software is expecting labels
Label size not defined in programming
There is no network connection
Printer is configured for SMTP, but there is
no SMTP server present or the SMTP
server is currently unavailable
Timeserver is selected in the configuration,
but there is no timeserver present or the
timeserver is currently unavailable.
Label roll used up
Error in media flow
Ink ribbon used up
Ink ribbon melted through during printing
Ink ribbon supply roll is not secured to the
ribbon supply hub
Printer receives an unknown or incorrect
command from the computer
Error in the selected download font
Hardware error

Maintaining the Printer and Removing Errors
Remedy
Press the pause button repeatedly until
printer recognizes the next label on the
media.
Cancel print job.
Change label format in the software.
Restart print job.
Cancel print job.
Change label format in the software.
Restart print job.
Check programming.
Check network cable and connector.
Inform the network administrator.
Deactivate SMTP in the configuration.
Caution: Warnings via e-mail (EAlert) can
then no longer be received.
Inform the network administrator.
Deactivate Timeserver in the configuration.

Load labels (see page 2-7).
Check media flow.
Load new ink ribbon.
