outside of the display range (600 - 1100 hPa).

e) Switching between temperature and atmospheric pressure mode

• In atmospheric pressure/altitude mode, briefly press the light button (7) to display the
atmospheric pressure or the temperature on the LCD display (3). The altitude will continue
to be displayed.

f) Wind chill temperature

• The wind chill temperature indicates the perceived temperature, which may differ from
the actual temperature due to strong winds. The wind chill temperature is only calculated
when the temperature is less than 10 °C and the wind speed is over 4.8 km/h. When
the temperature is over 10 °C, the wind chill temperature is the same as the measured
temperature.
• To display the wind chill temperature, press the light button (7) in temperature/wind speed
mode. "Wind Chill" will be displayed on the top-left of the display. The corresponding
numerical value will be displayed in place of the actual temperature and represents the
apparent temperature at the current wind speed.

g) Measuring intervals

• The product measures the air pressure every 3 seconds for the first 3 minutes after it is
turned on. After 3 minutes, the atmospheric pressure is measured once per minute. The
product measures the relative and absolute altitude based on the atmospheric pressure.
• The temperature is measured once per minute.
"--.-" is displayed when the measured pressure is not within the display range of
600 - 1100 hPa.
"--.-" is displayed when the measured temperature is not within the display range of
-30 ºC bis +60 ºC. This is also the case for the apparent temperature.

h) Deleting saved measurements from the memory

• To delete wind speed measurements from the memory, press and hold the + button (6) for
2 seconds in temperature/wind speed mode.
• To delete altitude measurements from the memory and reset the altitude to "0.0", press and
hold the + button (6) for 2 seconds in atmospheric pressure/altitude mode.
