Route 66 Navigate 7 für PNAs
First Steps
How to prepare the PNA
Before you can use Route 66 Navigate 7 on your PNA, you have to go
through the following steps fi rst:
1. Fully charge the battery of your PNA.
2. Insert the supplied memory card into the PNA.
3. Turn on the PNA. The installation of Route 66 Navigate 7 should start
automatically.
4. Select the language that you would like to use.
5. Now you should see a welcome screen and hear a spoken welcome
message.
6. Select the map that you would like to use with your PNA.
7. Now you can activate the software if you like (just follow the
instructions on the screen of the PNA). You can postpone the activation
by clicking „Later" in the activation screen. (You can click „Later" as
many times as you wish without having to ever activate the software.)
8. Carefully read the disclaimer message on the screen and confi rm it
afterwards. (If you do not confi rm the disclaimer, the program will shut
down and you have to restart it.)
9. Your navigation system is now operational and you are looking at the
map view.
10. In order to get your current position, please go outside (or into
your car) with clear view upwards into the sky. The fi rst satellite fi x
may take a view minutes. Once the PNA has located the current position,
you see it marked in the map by a red circle with a dot in the middle.
11. If you now tap the screen with your fi nger or a stylus pen, you will
get into the main menu screen of the software.
12. For further instructions please consult the manual supplied with the
device.
