9 Alarm Unit
The alarm unit is a cordless, handsfree telephone complying with DECT standards. It is already registered on the base station when delivered.
An alarm call is dialled at the press of a single button.
Press another button to dial a contact person or take an incoming call.
Note: There are several appropriate special service call numbers available, such as the Red Cross, St. John's Ambulance Brigade etc. Ask your
community services or use the unit for private alarm calls within your family, circle of friends or neighbours. Please note that alarm calls are not
free of charge.
The costs for using the special services are not included in the purchase price of the telephone.
Please also note that the functions identified by *1) may not be supported by the special services.

When the Automatic Answer function is activated (refer to V), the
call is taken on removing the unit from the charger and ended
when returned to it.

to dial the phone number of the relation, friend or neigh-
bour stored.
When a connection is made, speak into the microphone. You can
then hear the caller through the loudspeaker in the alarm unit.
