Inwall installation
Install body with diverter pointing downwards.
Depth of installation 65 mm to 85 mm (Extension
sets 25 mm 13498000, 13698000).
The box can depending on the building application
be mounted off the wall with the special support
frame, with the 10 mm studs for the wall to the
desired position, or in the traditional brickwall
installation.
To level the mixer there are two knobs on the front
of the protection cover for attaching a spirit level. To
complete the installation flush out both hot and cold
water supply.
Note: When installation is complete ensure that the
mixer is turned off!
To adjust the hot water limiter on single lever mixers,
please see page 14.
No adjustment is necessary when using a continuous
flow water heater.
The ibox is suitable for both bath and shower
application. For shower application only plug the
unused outlet and leave the diverter valve plug in
place.
Important
The mixer housing has in the bottom a seal (flap), in
the event of water condensating or entering the
box, this seal will drain the box. The seal has to be
shortened to the line up with the front edge of the
wall lining (You may wish to seal with silicon). When
used in hollow wall installation seal the edge to the
gipsom board.

Operation

The mixer is actuated by pulling the handle.
Swivel to the left = hot water
Swivel to the right = cold water

Large differences in pressure between the hot and cold
water supply should be balanced.
Hansgrohe single lever mixers can be used together
with hydraulically and thermically controlled continuous
flow heaters if the flow pressure is at least 1.5 bars.
