4.2. Removing the bobbin case

 Remove the table extension.
 Turn the hand wheel (21) to move the needle (26) to its highest position,
move the presser foot to its highest position and open the bobbin case
cover (10) as illustrated.
 Open the rocker arm of the bobbin case and remove this from the ma-
chine.
 When you let go of the rocker arm, the bobbin falls out of the bobbin case.

4.3. Threading the bobbin case

 Hold the bobbin between the thumb and index finger of your right hand
and leave about 15 cm of the thread hanging out.
 Hold the bobbin case in your left hand and put the bobbin in the bobbin
case.
 Put the end of the thread into the slit on the edge of the bobbin case.
 Now pass the thread through the tension spring and into the thread hole.
Make sure that around 15 cm of the thread is hanging out of the bobbin.
