• When the unit is powered up first time, the automatic update function will
start automatically. The message "PLEASE WAIT FOR SETTING
THANKS " will flash on the display. The device will automatically set the
date and time
• The automatic setup can take up to 10 minutes, please wait until the
setup is completed
• Pressing any button will cancel the automatic setup. To restart the
automatic setup, please unplug the device, and reinsert the ACadapter
after 30 seconds
Using the Radio
• Basic Functions
– Press the power button once to turn on the unit
– Press the function/ user button to select Radio
– Press the Preset + and Preset buttons to select the desired preset
memory station.
– Press the power button again to turn off the unit
• Select User
– When the radio is turned on, press and hold the function/ user button
for 1 second to change the current USER. The selected "USER A" or
"USER B" will be shown on display for 8 seconds.
– Each user can save up to 32 stations in memory
• Searching and saving radio stations manually
– Manually tune the frequency with the up and down buttons
– To store a station to memory, press the PROG/ MEM button, then
select the desired preset with the Preset + and Preset buttons. Press
the PROG/ MEM button again to save the station to the chosen
preset.
• Searching and saving radio stations automatically (AMS)
– Press and hold the PROG\ MEM button for 3 seconds to activate AMS
mode.
– In this mode, the radio will automatically scan and store radio stations.
It will scan for stations until it has scanned all the frequencies, or after
it has used up all the presets. After this, AMS mode will finish
automatically.
Using the CDplayer
• Basic functions
– Press the power button once to turn on the unit
– Press the function/ user button to select CD
– Press the power button again to turn off the unit
– Press the eject button to open the CDtray, then insert the CD. Press
the eject button again to close the CD tray, please wait while the
device reads the data from the CD
– The device will start playing automatically. Press the play/ pause
button to pause or resume the music
– Press the preset + button to select the play back mode. The modes
are "intro", "random" or "repeat"
– Press and hold the up/ fast foward button to fast forward, press once
to skip to the next track
– Press and hold the down/ rewind button to rewind, press once to skip
to the previous track
• Program play
– Press the PROG button once to enter the program mode
– Select the first track with the up and down buttons, press the PROG
button to confirm and select the next track
– Continue to complete the playlist (up to 20 tracks), then press the play
button
– Press the stop button twice to cancel the playlist
Using the AUXIN function
• Connect your audio source with a 3.5mm jack to the AUXinput on the
back of the device
• Press the power button once to turn on the unit
• Press the function/ user button to select AUX
• Use the controls on you source device to control the playback
Sound and volume settings
• Control the volume with the volume + and volume buttons
• Change the equalizer settings with the EQ button on the remote
Using the alarm function
• Press the alarm 1 or alarm 2 button. The alarm time will start flashing
• Adjust the time with the up and down buttons. Hold the buttons to adjust
faster.
• Press the timer button to change the type of alarm between daily (Su Mo
Tu We Th Fr Sa ), weekend (Sa Su )and weekday ( Mo Tu We Th Fr)
• Press and hold the timer button to choose a single day. Press timer
again to choose the desired day. Press and hold the timer button again
to exit.
• Press the same alarm key again to select the desired type of alarm. You
can choose between buzzer, radio or CD. A corresponding symbol will
be visible on the display. If there is no visible symbol, it means the alarm
is disabled.
• When the alarm goes off, you can end it by pressing any button.
Using the cooking timer
• Press the timer button once to enter the timer mode, adjust the time with
the up and down buttons.
• Press the timer button again to start the cooking timer.
• When the timer is running, press the timer button to pause. Press the
timer button again to resume. Press and hold the timer button to end to
prematurely end the cooking timer.
• In the last 30 seconds before the alarm starts, the device will beep 10
times.
• When the alarm goes off, you can end it by pressing the timer button
Locking the buttons
• You can lock the buttons by pressing and holding the lock button for
three seconds
• To unlock the buttons, press and hold the lock button again
Using the sleep timer function
• To activate the sleep timer press the Automatic off Timer (AOT) button.
Press the button multiple times to select a time between 90 and 10
minutes.
• The sleep timer will start automatically when no buttons are pressed for
10 seconds
Using the dimmer function
• Press and hold the DIM button to dim the display
• Press and hold the DIM button again to deactivate the dim function
Battery backup function
• Insert a CR2032 battery in the battery compartment at the bottom of the
device
• In case of a power outage, the device will remember the user setting
• Please be aware that the device will not operate on battery power alone,
the battery is strictly for the backup function
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive
cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
• Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid. The
device is not dishwasher proof.
GUARANTEE
• This product is guaranteed for 24 months granted. Your warranty is valid
if the product is used in accordance to the instructions and for the
purpose for which it was created. In addition, the original purchase
(invoice, sales slip or receipt) is to be submitted with the date of
purchase, the name of the retailer and the item number of the product.
