The DSC feature creates a realistic atmosphere
for the style of music you select using the latest
digital sound technology.

to select the respective sound setting.
Optimal Sound
• Press OPTIMUM to hear the sound setting that
is tuned to the acoustics of the supplied
speakers.
Dynamic Bass Boost (DBB)
• Press DBB to enhance the bass response.
– The flag lights up.

Incredible Sound
• In additional to all other sound settings, you
can switch on or off the incredible surround
sound feature by pressing INCREDIBLE
SOUND.
– This creates a phenomenal surround sound
y y effect even if the speakers are positioned
(or on
close to the system. The sound becomes
"incredibly" spatial.
– The INCREDIBLE SOUND button lights up.

Inserting the batteries into the
Remote Control
• Insert the batteries (Type R03 or AAA) into the
remote control transmitter as shown in the battery
compartment.
• To avoid damage from possible battery

Remote Control Functions STOP
• First select the source you wish to control by
pressing one of the source select keys on the

remote control (e.g. CD, TV/VCR , TUNER,
AUX, TAPE 1 or TAPE 2).
• Then select the desired function (PLAY, NEXT,
etc.).
Note :
– Whenever a remote control button is pressed,
the source icon on the set display will flicker.
This indicates the remote control signal is
received by the set.
– For TV/VCR operation, the TV/VCR must use the
RC-5 code remote control system.

Storing Preset Stations
You can store up to 20 stations in the memory. When

1 Press TUNER on the unit or on the remote control.
2 Press PROGRAM for more than 1 second.
