TIME Function
If the TIME button is pressed during playback, the
„Search" menu opens. In the „Time" line it is possible to
use the number buttons to enter a time in the format HH:
MM:SS (H=hours, M=minutes, S=seconds). Now press
the ENTER button. Playback starts from the selected
time. In the „Title/Chapter" line it is possible to use the
number buttons to enter a starting point from a specifi c
title and chapter. Then press the ENTER button to start
playback.
Setting Bookmarks
If no entry is made in the "Search" menu, but instead the
TIME button is pressed a second time, the "Bookmarks"
menu appears.
Now use the arrow buttons to select the number of the
bookmark (1, 2 or 3) which you would like to set and
then press the ENTER button to store the playing time.
Up to three different bookmarks can be set.
Playing back from a Bookmark
1. Press the TIME button twice.
2. Use the arrow buttons to select the desired book-
mark from which you would like to start playback and
then press the ENTER button.
Note: All bookmarks are deleted when the device is swit-
ched off or the disc removed.
MENU/PBC
When the PBC function is switched on, a CD title can
only be selected via the main menu. If the PBC function
is switched off, a title can be selected by entering the
corresponding number button. If the MENU button is
pressed while a DVD is being played back, the menu
contents of the disc appear on the screen.
A-B-Repeat
The A-B repeat function makes it possible to repeat play-
back of a section of a DVD between two certain points
(A and B).
1. Press the A-B button while the disc is being played
back in order to defi ne point A (starting point).

2. Press the A-B button again while the disc is being
played back to defi ne point B (end point).
The section between A and B is played back again.
3. Press the A-B button a third time to delete the entry.
Multiple Repeat
Certain titles, chapters/tracks or segments can be repea-
ted several times. It is even possible to switch between
two items that are to be played back repeatedly.
1. Select the title, chapter etc, that is to be repeated.
2. Press the REPEAT button.
The repeat mode changes each time the REPEAT button
is pressed (e.g. title repeat, chapter repeat, repeat all,
switch off repeat mode).
While a CD is being played back the following display
appears after the REPEAT button is pressed: TRACK ALL
and REPEAT OFF (repeat all tracks and switch off repeat
mode).
When an MP3 is being played back and the REPEAT
button pressed, the following modes can be selected:
Single, Repeat one, Repeat Folder, Folder.
