DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE

Please read the instructions carefully before using the device.
Thank you for choosing the Promed pedimed pedicure unit. This device was specially designed and
produced to guarantee a high-quality treatment and may be used both by qualified specialists and by
private persons after they have read these instructions. This device is ideally suitable for use in pedicure
(e.g. removing thick and hard skin, cuticle skin care, nail care, treating hard nails etc.).
We, the manufacturer, cannot be held liable for any injuries or damages to persons or objects resulting
from disregard of this manual.
We hope you enjoy your new Promed pedimed In the following, we want to improve your
understanding of the device. Please read the manual before using the device.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please consider before commissioning:
Never bring the device into direct contact with fire, gas or oxygen as well as hot objects, such as hobs.
Please observe the following aspects when using the device:
A. Abrasive products to be used:
• Standard shaft dental diameter: 2.332 – 2.350 mm
• Only centred abrasive products with a rounded shaft end may be used.
• Rusty or bent abrasive products must not be used.
B. Operate speed controller with caution.
C. Before changing the direction of rotation, switch off the device (rotary control in centre position).
D. Before switching on the device, you must set the speed (rotation direction controller (B)) to zero.
E. Voltage supply of the device: 100 VAC - 240 VAC.
F. Switch off the device before changing the abrasive product.
G. Take every possible precaution to ensure that the handpiece does not fall down or is damaged
otherwise.
H. If problems at the handpiece occur, please have it repaired.
I. Do not lubricate or wash the handpiece.
K. Only for use in indoor spaces.
L. When using a device in the presence of children, an attentive supervision is required.
DANGER!
• Do not bring the device into direct contact with water or other liquids.
• Never position or use the device in a wet or moist environment.
• Do not touch the device with wet hands.
• Only operate the device with the mains voltage specified.
• The device must not be used outdoors.
WARNING!
• Children may not play with the device.
• Do not leave the device without supervision when there are children or persons not used to handling
the device around.
• Only use the device for applications as described in this manual.
• Only use attachments and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
