1.4.6
Monitoring the door opening time
The door is monitored for the maximum admissible opening time. If the door cannot be locked
after a temporary release because it is not closed, after the release time preselected with S1 a
pre-alarm status is initiated. After expiry of the pre-alarm time selected with S2, the alarm proper
is initiated (in the bus mode, the times must be set at the bus control panel). This functional
sequence, when active, is also tripped after termination of a permanent release via terminals
9/10 if the door is not closed.
If this function is not required, this can be set at function key S 4.1.

S 4.1: off (below)
1.4.6.1 Resetting an alarm after exceeding the door open time
If an alarm has been tripped by exceeding the door open time, this can be acknowledged by
closing the door and reset. The door is closed, and in the control terminal the red and yellow LED
lights up as an indication that the door has been open for too long. This display can be deleted by
unlocking.
1.4.6.2 Pre-alarm
The pre-alarm is not used as an emergency alarm but as an indication or warning that the door
has not been closed after a temporary release after the set temporary release time. For this
reason, the functions tripped by an alarm are not activated. In detail, this means that the floating
"Alarm" relay contact does not close and the yellow LED is not alight. The pre-alarm is
recognizable only by the acoustic alarm given off with diminishing volume. The duration of the
pre-alarm can be set at switch S2 (in the bus mode, the time must be set at the bus control
panel). If the door is closed during this period, the pre-alarm is terminated and the door locked. If
this is not the case, an alarm is triggered.
Conditions for the pre-alarm:
•
After a temporary release, the opened door has not been closed again.
•
After termination of a permanent release and subsequent temporary release time, the door
is not closed.
1.4.6.3 Resetting a pre-alarm
If the pre-alarm has been tripped, there are two possibilities for resetting it. The first possibility is
to close the door. The control terminal then changes to the "locked" status. The second
possibility is to initiate a temporary or permanent release during the pre-alarm time. If the
"Temporary release" is started, please note that this is only possible with the external release
button at terminals 11/12.
If the acoustic alarm is not wanted, remove plug-in jumper JP-1.
Note: An alarm occurring during the pre-alarm is evaluated.
